HOTWORX congratulates franchisees, Tracy and Ian Scott, who were awarded a franchise license in the New Orleans market and recently opened their LaPlace, LA (Belle Terre) studio!

What originally motivated you to consider a business opportunity?
Tracy is a Chemical Engineer, working as a Production Manager for Shell, and she has 30 years of group fitness instructor experience. Ian has been in IT for almost 30 years and currently is a VMware Engineer. He has 16 years of experience being instructed by Tracy.

After moving in the Summer of 2024, Tracy noticed the need for a yoga studio with convenient workout times and a clean facility that appealed to women. Meanwhile, Ian was looking for a career change that allowed for more social interaction.

What led you to explore franchising rather than an independent business?
As we have never owned a business, the idea of structure and support seemed like a no brainer.

‍What was your initial impression of your first HOTWORX session?
Both of us loved it! We are looking forward to spending a lot more time in the sauna.

‍How was your experience going through the HOTWORX Discovery Process?
It was very informative, structured, and welcoming. Mandy, our Franchise Recruiter, was very forthcoming with answers to all of our questions.

‍How would you describe your Orientation Day and meeting the HOTWORX Executive Team?
We really enjoyed talking to everyone and listening to the presentation for each department. It definitely made us feel that we were going to have a very helpful support network.

In our first year as HOTWORX franchisees, we plan to be profitable, join the 500 member club, and become a part of the community.
