
What originally motivated you to consider a business opportunity?
We have always had an entrepreneurial mindset and have built businesses in different industries. We were looking for a business opportunity that aligned with our personal passions—health, fitness, and wellness—while also offering a strong financial model and a scalable system.
We have experience in real estate development and self-storage, as well as risk management and national security consulting in Washington, D.C. Our background has given us a strong foundation in business strategy, operations, and risk analysis.
What led you to explore franchising rather than an independent business?
While we were initially considering opening an independent hot yoga studio, we quickly realized that HOTWORX had already solved many of the challenges we anticipated—scalability, operational efficiency, and a proven business model. The support, technology, and brand recognition of HOTWORX offered a lower-risk, higher-reward approach compared to starting from scratch.
What was your initial impression of your first HOTWORX session?
I was immediately impressed by the efficiency and effectiveness of the workout. As someone who has practiced hot yoga for over a decade, I knew the benefits firsthand, but the addition of infrared heat and isometric workouts took it to another level. It was intense, time-efficient, and exactly the kind of fitness solution I had been looking for.
How was your experience going through the HOTWORX Discovery Process?
The Discovery Process was thorough and well-structured. We appreciated the transparency in financials and expectations, as well as the one-on-one support from the Franchise Development team. Each step helped us gain more confidence in the opportunity and the leadership behind the brand.
