HOTWORX congratulates franchisee, Corrie O'Donnell, who was awarded a franchise license in the Cleveland-Akron (Canton) market and recently opened her Mentor, OH (Broadmoor Rd) studio!

What originally motivated you to consider a business opportunity?
I currently consult, but I'm always looking for new business opportunities. I liked that I could continue with my current consulting work and simultaneously get my HOTWORX business up and running.

What led you to explore franchising rather than an independent business?
After working for 20 years, I have a good understanding of my strengths and weaknesses. I know that I can follow a roadmap and successfully execute on it, but I love that it will be my business and, ultimately, I'm responsible for it's profitability and success.

‍What was your initial impression of your first HOTWORX session?
Loved it! I've only done 1 workout at a HOTWORX since it's an hour from me, but I'm excited to start working out with the 3D Training method more regularly and reap the benefits.

‍How was your experience going through the HOTWORX Discovery Process?
Patty, my HOTWORX Franchise Recruiter, took me through the Discovery Process and she was fantastic. She was up front from Day 1 with all information. Even though I was reading along in the FDD, she always highlighted important details and discussed them in detail. There was never a point in the process where I felt like I was learning something in the FDD that she hadn't already shared.

‍How would you describe your Orientation Day and meeting the HOTWORX Executive Team?
I was even more impressed after going through Orientation Day and meeting the Executive Team. I love that so many team members have worked together for so long. I think that says a lot about the people and culture.

‍What advice would you give to other candidates considering the opportunity to franchise with HOTWORX?
I personally feel like it's something you know fairly quickly if it feels right for you. Everything has been thought through and proven. It just has to work for what you stand for.

‍What are the top 3 reasons you chose to franchise with HOTWORX?
1. I believe in the concept and it feels authentic to who I am as a person.
2. It's new and fresh. There are still a lot of people in my area that have not heard of it.
3. I like that I can open this business and get it up and running while still working.

‍What excites you the most in offering HOTWORX to your community?
That it's new! HOTWORX is still fairly new to my area with the closest studio being about an hour away. I'm excited to share the concept with the community and I think they are going to love it.

‍What goals do you plan to accomplish in your first year as a HOTWORX franchisee?
I'd love to be planning a 2nd studio within my first year with HOTWORX.

‍How will HOTWORX help you achieve your personal and professional goals?
I exercise regularly now (Hot Yoga, HIIT, Pilates, running, etc) and I'm excited to incorporate infrared heat to my workouts for the added health benefits. For my professional goals, I'm looking forward to the personal growth that will come from this experience of opening a new business.
