HOTWORX congratulates franchisees, Misty & Cory Posey, who were awarded a franchise license in the Columbus, OH market and recently opened their Chillicothe, OH studio!

What originally motivated you to consider a business opportunity?
I have been in business with my family for over 10 years. I was ready to take on a challenge of my own. I knew it was time for me take the leap! I am currently the owner of Ross County Transportation LLC, a non emergency medical transportation company. I am also the HR Manager for Red Bird Logistics, which is a family owned Amazon Delivery Service Provider.

What led you to explore franchising rather than an independent business?
I wasn’t exactly sure what avenue I was interested in. Once I tried a Hot Thunder workout, I knew that HOTWORX was the road I was ready to take.

‍What was your initial impression of your first HOTWORX session?
I was intimidated at first of the unknown. The Hot Thunder workout was no joke and a great way to know exactly what I was getting myself into. I felt more energized after that workout than I have in years after making myself get a workout in each day. It was something that I would look forward to instead of dreading.

‍How was your experience going through the HOTWORX Discovery Process?
Cynthia, our HOTWORX Franchise Recruiter, was absolutely amazing. She was not only able to share very clear explanations but she could also speak based on her personal experience. That was what helped me the most. Being able to have her as my Recruiter made the decision so much easier.

‍How would you describe your Orientation Day and meeting the HOTWORX Executive Team?
Orientation Day was a lot of information and a lot of speaking in one day. It was all very important and I’m so glad that I was able to meet the Executive Team! Having Stephen on the call was my favorite part, because not often do you see the CEO taking time out of their day to speak with two newbies. That was a great touch! INFORMATION OVERLOAD, but so needed and so worth it!

‍What advice would you give to other candidates considering the opportunity to franchise with HOTWORX?
I would say do your homework. This is something that you have to be passionate about or it’ll never work. This isn’t something that builds itself you have to want to put the work in.

‍What are the top 3 reasons you chose to franchise with HOTWORX?
1. I am passionate about my fitness and well being already
2. The support system
3. Profitability that is available if the effort is there!

‍What excites you the most in offering HOTWORX to your community?
I am so excited to offer options! There are no fitness clubs in our community that offer multiple options for everyone, just the basic gym and that’s it.

‍What goals do you plan to accomplish in your first year as a HOTWORX franchisee?
I have a goal of 800 members in my first year!

‍How will HOTWORX help you achieve your personal and professional goals?
I believe I have the best coach for the job. She has the tools and experience to guide me to victory!
