Active Recovery and Pain Free Infrared Training

I always refer to the HOTWORX 3D Training Method as active recovery. I actually call it a “recovery workout” in conversation a lot. I hear it from customers as well.

One HOTWORX member posted this to her Instagram recently @cupcakesarenice:

I was tired of exercise that made me hurt. It seems counterintuitive that you should be in constant pain to get healthy, right? HOTWORX keeps me healthy and in shape while letting me live a PAIN FREE LIFE. It is a real game changer.

I can say that for me, it has been a game changer too. From snow skiing to paddle boarding and climbing mountains, it has been the pain free way to train for activities that I like to do, and to keep fit in general.

Myself, representing HOTWORX as CEO, and three others, Jeremy Harwell-my training partner and franchise performance coach for HOTWORX, Victoria Price-corporate executive and franchisee of HOTWORX and John Carlton-franchisee of HOTWORX, are headed to Africa this week to climb Kilimanjaro to raise money for the Sacred Mountain Retreat Center (SMRC). Our marketing department has dubbed this trip “Hiking for Heroes” as SMRC provides recovery to our nations wounded veterans and first responders. WE APPRECIATE YOUR SERVICE TO THE COUNTRY!!! I mention the Kilimanjaro climb because it is super relevant to this article. All four of us used the HOTWORX training method of no impact and infrared absorption to get ready for the trek. Infrared absorbs into the skin and accelerates the workout recovery process, which is why there is way less soreness. You don’t have to crush your body to prepare for an event like climbing a mountain, or even for a social event that requires, for example, losing weight for a wedding. For the athlete or for general fitness, Isometrics and HIIT are perfect zero impact workouts that work well inside of an infrared sauna to deliver fast results and minimize the probability of pain.

In addition to the customer’s comment above, I would note that the HOTWORX method has always been based on a ZERO impact workout design. When you can get your intensity level and heart rate to the training zone that is necessary for fitness without doing damage to your body, then it is a win for pain management as well. It’s a workout recovery WHILE you are working out!
