Infrared Light Waves of Energy

I hear from HOTWORX members who are athletes and those who are average fitness enthusiasts all the time who tell me the same thing. They tell me about how energetic and cleansed they feel following an infrared training session. The reason for this feeling is due to the exposure to infrared energy during the workout. Far-infrared radiation penetrates the body up to 1.5” and stimulates cells into action, thereby detoxing and rejuvenating the body and brain.

Infrared is a form of radiation, but don’t let that scare you. Infrared radiation is a non-ionizing (will not alter DNA) energy from light. Light travels in waves and it is largely the length of the wave that determines the response that humans have to exposure. Out of all forms of radiation, far-infrared (FIR) has the most beneficial impacts for humans with zero negative effects. I like the descriptions below from Livescience.com:

Infrared radiation (IR), or infrared light, is a type of radiant energy that's invisible to human eyes but that we can feel as heat. All objects in the universe emit some level of IR radiation, but two of the most obvious sources are the sun and fire. (1)
The shorter "near-infrared" waves, which are closer to visible light on the electromagnetic spectrum, don't emit any detectable heat and are what's discharged from a TV remote control to change the channels. The longer "far-infrared" waves, which are closer to the microwave section on the electromagnetic spectrum, can be felt as intense heat, such as the heat from sunlight or fire, according to NASA. Infrared light, or IR, is an invisible form of radiant energy. It is interesting to note that everything in the universe emits IR. Humans emit IR. Obviously, in our solar system, the main source of IR is our Sun.

Within the spectrum of light, IR is positioned at the end of red visible light and ranges all the way to the microwave area. IR varies in wavelength beginning with the shorter near infrared to the longer, non-harmful and more penetrating FIR light.

“The longer, far infrared wavelengths are about the size of a pin head and the shorter, near infrared ones are the size of cells, or are microscopic.” (3)

The patented HOTWORX workout sauna utilizes an IR heater design and configuration that emits 95% far-infrared energy and 5% mid-range IR for clients during workouts. This is important for heat generation and for better absorption through the skin.

Add some energy from light to your workouts. Ride the wave of the FIR workout movement!
