Infrared Workouts for Pliability

I watched an interview recently with Tom Brady explaining his training routine. Of course, Tom Brady is playing quarterback on the highest level at the age of 45 in the NFL. He attributes much of his longevity in the league to training for “pliability.” So, what is pliability anyway? Pliability according to dictionary.com is the quality of being easily bent without breaking; flexibility. (1)

Pliability training yields faster and more complete muscle recovery, and joint flexibility is contingent on the pliability of muscles. Pliability exercise develops the easy to stretch muscles that allow for joints to produce wider ranges of motion. If it works for the NFL, then I submit to you that a version of it can work wonders for the average fitness enthusiast. Pliability work will help to build resilient muscles that can handle impact. With a regular practice, pliability training can alleviate soreness and can become another weapon in your injury prevention arsenal.

So, how do we get more of this “pliability” for our bodies?

The HOTWORX 3D Training Method is a pliability method. The exposure to infrared energy and heat to reduce inflammation, combined with the foam rolling practice with each isometric workout delivers the goods when it comes to better recovery and improved flexibility. Deep tissue, self-administered massage with a foam roller towards the end of an infrared sauna workout is the ticket to greater muscle pliability!

Pliability training involves minimizing inflammation through proper diet and quality sleep too. I hear all the time from HOTWORX members who rave about the improvement in sleep quality from their workouts. A well balanced diet should also be a part of your efforts to improve muscle pliability so that your metabolism can function efficiently for strength gains from muscle recovery.

Train your muscles for resilience through a focus on pliability. There’s no better way to do it than a 3D Training program at your local HOTWORX 24 Hour Infrared Fitness Studio!
