Infrared Workouts Release Endorphins

Sometimes I witness people who allow their emotions to overtake their ability to behave in a sensible and/or reasonable manner. When I see this it makes me think how they could live a happier life if they would just begin a consistent practice of infrared fitness. Did you know that infrared training has a multitude of health benefits and one of them is the release of endorphins?

Staying positive and keeping your mood level good is super important to living a happy life. I believe that happiness is a choice and with that choice comes the decision to live a healthy lifestyle.

Infrared sauna sessions help the body release endorphins, which are natural chemicals produced by the brain that act as neurotransmitters. Exercise does this too. This is another reason why the 3D Training Method of HOTWORX is so effective. This method combines the elements of heat and infrared energy with exercise.

Endorphins are often referred to as "feel-good" hormones because they can reduce pain and induce feelings of pleasure or euphoria.

Here's how infrared sauna training sessions contribute to the release of endorphins:

Heat and Relaxation: Infrared saunas generate radiant heat that penetrates deeper into the body compared to traditional saunas. Infrared energy can penetrate the skin up to 1.5 inches into the body. The heat from infrared induces a state of relaxation by relaxing muscles and relieving tension. This relaxation can trigger the release of endorphins as the body responds to the soothing and calming effects of the heat.

Pain Relief: Infrared heat can help alleviate minor aches and pains, potentially due to improved blood circulation and muscle relaxation. Pain relief is one of the key triggers for the release of endorphins.

Stress Reduction: Infrared sauna sessions can help reduce stress by promoting relaxation and improving sleep quality. Stress reduction is linked to the release of endorphins, as they help counteract the effects of stress and anxiety.

Detoxification: Infrared saunas aid in detoxification by promoting sweating, which helps eliminate toxins and impurities from the body. The process of detoxification can contribute to an overall sense of well-being, potentially triggering the release of endorphins.

Physical Activity and Increased Heart Rate: During an infrared sauna workout session, your heart rate increases to get you to the desired heart rate level fast. This increased heart rate and the stress on the cardiovascular system triggers the release of endorphins. This use of stress in a good way is known as hormesis, which suggests that exposure to manageable levels of stress triggers an adaptive response in an organism resulting in improved resilience, health, and longevity.

So, if you want to live a happier, more productive and positive life, then get your infrared workouts on!!!
