The World’s Most Unique Fitness Competition TV Show Release

Season three of the HOTWORX Virtual Instructor Competition TV Show has just been released, and there is no other fitness competition like this one. How would you like to hold a plank for 5 minutes on stage in front of hundreds of people while answering interview questions into the microphone? That’s just one of the many different and challenging parts of the competition.

Taking a look back, the original idea for this one of a kind fitness competition came about as a result of the need to find new fitness talent for the filming of workout videos for the HOTWORX 24 Hour Infrared Fitness Studio Franchise. The thought was then developed into a strategy to launch an online search for applicants who were certified in the different workout modalities that were necessary for filming. The company sought qualified fitness professionals to deliver the numerous different workout types, from yoga and Pilates to barre, cycle and more. The innovative infrared workouts were created and the routines were then choreographed by the company for filming.

It was to be an annual competition that would culminate in the top 15 finalists who would be flown to the company franchise convention for a three day competition from which the top candidates would be selected and who would participate in a fall and spring week of filming for the upcoming fitness year. The idea turned strategy was then executed into reality.

The first competition was held at the HOTWORX franchise convention in Lake Tahoe in the summer of 2018, and it was a resounding success.

We are now launching into the 7th year of the competition and the fourth year of filming the competition show. It was 2021 when the company decided to film the competition as a made for tv reality show of the various segments of the contest for release on the company website, YouTube and television. Last year, in season two, the show was released on local network tv stations. Season three can be watched now on the company website at, YouTube and on various local stations across the country this February, March and April in these markets: Atlanta; Austin; Birmingham (Anniston and Tuscaloosa); Charlotte; Cleveland-Akron (Canton); Columbus, OH; Dallas-Fort Worth; Denver; Greenville-Spartanburg-Asheville-Anderson; Houston; Kansas City; Las Vegas; Los Angeles; Memphis, TN; Mobile-Pensacola (Fort Walton Beach); Nashville; New Orleans; New York; Philadelphia; Phoenix (Prescott); Sacramento-Stockton-Modesto; San Antonio; San Francisco-Oakland-San Jose; Seattle-Tacoma; Tampa-St. Petersburg (Sarasota); Washington, DC (Hagerstown); West Palm Beach-Fort Pierce.
