A Successful Business Model to Follow

HOTWORX welcomes new franchisee, Rhett and Kathryn Fordham, who were awarded a franchise license in Nashville, Tennessee!

What originally motivated you to consider a business opportunity?
I have been looking for a franchise to buy for a number of years. When I researched HOTWORX the simplicity of the business combined with the uniqueness of the model and how well it has been executed was too much for me to pass up.
What led you to explore franchising rather than an independent business?A franchise vs a start up offers many benefits: A. Financing is easier B. A proven idea that works C. A successful business model to follow D. A resource from the home office to draw from. E. A known brand name etc... the list goes on and on.
What was your initial impression of your first HOTWORX session?
I absolutely loved my first session. I did Hot Pilates. The first 10 minutes or so I kept thinking to myself that "This isn’t so bad." But the last 15-20 minutes are what really gets you. That’s when the holds start to hurt a little more. The breath gets a little more labored and the sweat starts to roll. I do yoga/Pilates approximately 5 times a week as well as weight training. The icing on the cake was that I was actually sore the next day. That’s when I knew you guys really had something going.
How was your experience going through the HOTWORX Discovery Process?My experience going through the Discovery Process was outstanding. A set timetable with advance notice of what was to be covered and an easy to follow format, combined with Teresa’s amazing knowledge about the industry and franchises in general really helped make this decision to invest a no-brainer.
How would you describe your Orientation Day and meeting the HOTWORX Executive Team?
Orientation Day was outstanding. The team was extremely gracious and truly felt excited to meet us. I went back through my notes yesterday and realized I took 10 legal pages of notes. I asked a ton of questions and everyone was very gracious with their time and answered my questions thoughtfully and thoroughly. I was very impressed with the Executive Team!!
What advice would you give to other entrepreneurs considering the opportunity to franchise with HOTWORX?
My advice? DO IT!! Before it’s too late!!

What excites you the most in offering HOTWORX to your community?
The most exciting thing to me is offering a timely workout at an affordable price that not only delivers a benefit to the body but also the mind and overall well-being.
What goals do you plan to accomplish in your first year as a HOTWORX franchisee?
My ultimate goal is to reach 1000 members. For the first year I would like to reach the 500 Club in the first three months, become profitable and work like heck to retain every member possible.
How will HOTWORX help you achieve your personal and professional goals?
HOTWORX can continue to offer support via franchise coaches and continuing to optimize the business process and make new and enjoyable workouts for our members.
