Detailed and Structured Process

HOTWORX congratulates franchisees, Anthony and Mindy Barber, who were awarded 5 franchise licenses in the Kansas City market and recently opened their Kansas City, MO (Metro Crossing) studio!

What originally motivated you to consider a business opportunity?
Anthony: In September I was reflecting on why I had never gone into business for myself. My dad had owned his own business but the desire was never quite there for me. I think that was God prompting my heart to what He was bringing our way.

Mindy: I always had this internal desire to step into owning a business over my lifetime, but never found that opportunity that spoke to me.

What led you to explore franchising rather than an independent business?
We didn't have a plan to follow franchising. It all just kind of fell into place. We were coming home from church one Sunday and Mindy started talking about HOTWORX and how she enjoyed going. As we talked further, we started bouncing the idea off one another and decided to check out HOTWORX's website and decided to send an inquiry. After learning about the plan, it all just seemed to fit well for us.

What was your initial impression of your first HOTWORX session?
It was nice to have an area where you could workout alone. The saunas were easy to use. The session left us feeling like we had a really great workout, but coming away relaxed.

How was your experience going through the HOTWORX Discovery Process?
Our experience was great. We didn't feel rushed or pressured. Any question we had, we got an answer to. The detailed and structured process helped us to feel we would be working with an organization that knew what they were doing and wouldn't leave us to fend for ourselves.

How would you describe your Orientation Day and meeting the HOTWORX Executive Team?
Overwhelming, but it was the detail we needed to finalize our decision. Hearing the stories of the leadership team was truly encouraging and provided peace of mind of what the company culture would be. Having the chance to speak with the CEO is not a common thing.

What advice would you give to other candidates considering the opportunity to franchise with HOTWORX?
Be patient and trust the process. Listen to the personal testimonies of the recruiters and other franchisees.

What are the top 3 reasons you chose to franchise with HOTWORX?
1. Clear and structured plan for success!
2. We believe 110% in the product. We cannot sell something we do not believe in.

What excites you the most in offering HOTWORX to your community?
Helping people feel better about themselves and being comfortable in accomplishing their goals.

What goals do you plan to accomplish in your first year as a HOTWORX franchisee?
1. Open our first studio
2. Hire a manager that represents who we are and what we are trying to accomplish
3. Have 500 Memberships
4. Create a studio environment that engages and excites our members to grow our membership base through their referrals

How will HOTWORX help you achieve your personal and professional goals?
In looking at a 4-5 year goal, we believe this opportunity will provide us with more free time and financial resources to follow our spiritual goals.
