HOTWORX congratulates franchisees, Heather Lee and Nicholas Anthony, who were awarded a franchise license in the Dallas-Fort Worth market and recently opened their Argyle, TX studio!
What originally motivated you to consider a business opportunity?
I work for a Real Estate development company and wanted to invest in real estate. Rather than raw land or commercial development, I wanted to focus on something which not only had long-term financial advantages, but also one which provided direct health and mental benefits to myself, my family and those within our community.
What led you to explore franchising rather than an independent business?
Franchising comes with its own network of experienced professionals who have direct hands-on training, knowledge, and expertise of the actual business model. I felt that it would be vital during my first venture as an entrepreneur, to have the supportive benefits of a franchise brand.
What was your initial impression of your first HOTWORX session?
It was magical! Not only was the workout challenging and had my body shaking, immediately after stepping out of the sauna I felt an overall sense of release- stress, worry, and everything that comes with being a working mom of 4 boys just seemed to melt away! Those isometric saunas are my periods of escape to reset and recharge.
How was your experience going through the HOTWORX Discovery Process?
My franchise recruiter, Patricia, was amazing. Not only was she informative on the HOTWORX brand, but also incredibly informational regarding the franchise model. Many times, we would get off topic with kids, life, everyday general aspects and then go right back into business. This may seem silly, but when you are able to relate on multiple pages with someone all while making a huge leap of faith financially- it calms your nerves!
How would you describe your Orientation Day and meeting the HOTWORX Executive Team?
When you meet an organizational structure that has a corporate team who have tenures dating back to the very beginning of Planet Beach and they are still intact…It speaks VOLUMES! Listening to the proclamations from each Executive solidified that we made the right choice.
What advice would you give to other entrepreneurs considering the opportunity to franchise with HOTWORX?
Take the leap! I am an over-thinker. I balance between excitement and fear, almost letting fear take over in this venture. However, the excitement won, and I have never felt more accomplished or a sense of eagerness for what is to come!

What excites you the most in offering HOTWORX to your community?
This community is where we chose to root our household and raise our family. I want this community to reap the benefits of not just the physical aspects of HOTWORX, but also the mental. Investing in a brand which has such an overall well-rounded package and brings genuine value to those I care about around me, is a WIN-WIN.
What goals do you plan to accomplish in your first year as a HOTWORX franchisee?
I am determined to beat the Day 1 pre-sale record! I want to ensure our studio makes an impact on someone else’s life, in the same manner to which it has impacted mine.

Franchising with HOTWORX gives us the freedom to achieve financial independence and obtain the best flexibility outside of our corporate positions. This way we can create our own work-life balance and be present with our boys on a daily basis- a true family focused future with health and fitness at the cornerstone!
