HOTWORX welcomes new franchisees, Dave Ablin and Dan Benson, who were awarded a franchise license in Chicago, Illinois!

What originally motivated you to consider a business opportunity?

As multiple franchise owners, we have seen a lot of success in membership based franchising. We were at a place where our other businesses were running smoothly and we felt it was time to diversify our portfolio.

What led you to explore franchising rather than an independent business?

As franchise brokers ourselves, we fully understand the benefits of partnering with a brand that has already gone through the difficult work of proving a concept, making the mistakes, and perfecting the process. Starting from scratch is not something that interests us!

What was your initial impression of your first HOTWORX session?

The air was awesome, the workout was wonderful and the sweat left behind was evidence that we had truly accomplished something significant in a short amount of time.

How was your experience going through the HOTWORX Discovery Process?

Our Discovery Process was smooth, questions were answered in a timely manner, and honest feedback was provided by HOTWORX even when it wasn’t exactly what we wanted to hear. This ensured that there were no surprises after signing the agreement.

How would you describe your Orientation Day and meeting the HOTWORX Executive Team?

Our Orientation Day was educational and served the purpose of fully answering any questions that still lingered. The Executive Team at HOTWORX really stood out to us as professional while maintaining a real feel of family unity. Their lack of turnover speaks volumes to their ability to work well together, especially having come from another brand that sees new executives coming and going every month.

What advice would you give to other entrepreneurs considering the opportunity to franchise with HOTWORX?

There is no such thing as a dumb question. Fire away, call lots of other HOTWORX owners, and get yourself to an Orientation Day ASAP. Territory is selling fast.

What are the top 3 reasons you chose to franchise with HOTWORX?

1. Unique concept that has no competition.2. Membership based model with very little payroll overhead.3. Making money is important but if you can do that while also making a real difference in the health and life of others… well that’s a win/win!

What excites you the most in offering HOTWORX to your community?

I’m excited by the amount of franchise agreements being signed in our area. I believe that this is a brand that will generate a lot of excitement and buzz in the Chicago suburbs and can’t wait to show our community the many benefits of a HOTWORX membership.

What goals do you plan to accomplish in your first year as a HOTWORX franchisee?

We are aiming for 800 members and a $20,000 a month profit by the last month of our first year in operation.

How will HOTWORX help you achieve your personal and professional goals?

HOTWORX will serve as a vehicle for diversifying our franchise portfolio as economic conditions may be indicating that the shelf life on our other businesses might be growing stale. We hope to get one location up and then turn our attention to multiple locations down the road.
