
What originally motivated you to consider a business opportunity?
Ever since we met, we both have talked about wanting to own our own businesses and/or franchises. We wanted to take on a new challenge and grow something of our own. Our children have played a huge role in this because any opportunity to be able to provide more for them is extremely motivating.
What is your current profession and/or what industry do you have experience working in?
Chris has worked in the construction industry for 10 years where he currently works as a third-party building official covering a large geography in Georgia. Katie currently works as a medical device representative partnering with multiple medical specialties in the oncology division. Previously she worked as a healthcare professional in the Interventional Radiology department.
What led you to explore franchising rather than an independent business?
We decided to go into franchising because with our professional backgrounds, it made more sense to enter a business with a strong foundation. Finding a franchise that offers great guidance and education of the process was very important to us.
What was your initial impression of your first HOTWORX session?
For our first HOTWORX session, we attended a Hot Blast session and were both shocked at the intensity of the workout. Neither of us had ever worked out in a sauna before and were not expecting to enjoy the heat during our workout. We were very impressed and it quickly became understandable why it is so successful.
How was your experience going through the HOTWORX Discovery Process?
We were very impressed with the Discovery Process. Yes, there is a ton of information that is thrown at you, but the structure of this process made it easy to understand. We enjoyed the weekly breakdown of the information with the follow up call to review and have any questions answered before moving forward. Teresa, our Franchise Recruiter, was awesome to work with and we enjoyed our time speaking with her weekly.
How would you describe your Orientation Day and meeting the HOTWORX Executive Team?
Orientation Day was long, but it was not overwhelming, as we had expected. Everyone did such an amazing job making sure all the information was very straight forward and understandable. Every member of the Executive Team was very encouraging and knowledgeable. It was very clear how well each department works together as a team. It speaks greatly of a company to see how passionate and excited the Executive Team is for the product.
What advice would you give to other candidates considering the opportunity to franchise with HOTWORX?
Experiencing the process so far, I would highly encourage them to move forward. You have a proven foundation, and you have amazing support though the entire process. I also would encourage them to start the Discovery Process if they are undecided.

What excites you the most in offering HOTWORX to your community?
We're most excited about being able to offer a product to our community that not only can help them achieve their weight loss goals but improve their overall health and quality of life.
What goals do you plan to accomplish in your first year as a HOTWORX franchisee?
In our first year as HOTWORX franchisees, we plan to open our studio with 300+ members from pre-sale and reach 500 members by the end of the year.
How will HOTWORX help you achieve your personal and professional goals?
Personally, having a HOTWORX we can access at anytime in our community will help us reach health goals we want to achieve. There are multiple health factors that we need to improve on and HOTWORX will make those possible. Professionally, HOTWORX has already allowed us to reach our goal of becoming business owners and long-term, HOTWORX can allow us to be successful and have the opportunity to open multiple locations.
