Make HOTWORX Your First Step

HOTWORX welcomes new franchisees, Amanda & Casey Riggan, who were awarded 3 franchise licenses in the San Antonio market and are currently in Presale at their Spring Branch, TX (Bulverde) studio!

What originally motivated you to consider a business opportunity?
Actually, we had not even been looking for or considering business opportunities but after my first HOTWORX session, I knew it was something I wanted to be part of. I've been a trainer, group fitness instructor, and gym manager for years and could tell immediately that HOTWORX had the winning combination of virtual group fitness, 3D Training, the business model, and studio concept. I ran home and told Casey, "We are going to own a HOTWORX!" and we filled out the Franchisee inquiry form that night!

What was your initial impression of your first HOTWORX session?
Going in, I was excited to try something new but I didn't know what to expect. After only 5 minutes, I was hooked. The virtual trainer was knowledgeable and engaging, the workout was fun & challenging, but what stood out the most to me was the impact the infrared had on my body. Not only was I completely drenched, but I felt energized instead of exhausted without any soreness! AMAZING!

How was your experience going through the HOTWORX Discovery Process?
Casey & I went into this with ALL.THE.QUESTIONS. and Teresa Normand had ALL.THE.ANSWERS. We decided to fast-track our Discovery Process and we're so thankful to have had her run (not walk lol) with us through it.   know there is no way we would have tackled that much info in such a short amount of time without her help and patience. It was a great feeling to start our journey with HOTWORX talking with someone that, not only loves their job, but loves the company they work for.

How would you describe your Orientation Day and meeting the HOTWORX Executive Team?
It was a wonderful day and we enjoyed every moment and every speaker. I honestly thought there were going to be more candidates on the Orientation Day call than just me and one other couple, but you would have thought it was prepared for an entire crowd. Each department had a great attitude about talking with us, they were excited, knowledgeable, had so much info to share, and they all were so willing to answer any questions. It made me feel very special to know that so much time and planning was put into making sure we were fully ready when making our decision at the end of the day. The two things that stood out to me the most on Orientation Day was how long each person had been working with Steve and the company, and how positive everyone seemed when describing their history/role with Planet Beach and HOTWORX. Who wouldn't want to be a part of that happy energy?

What advice would you give to other entrepreneurs considering the opportunity to franchise with HOTWORX?
My advice would be to: MAKE HOTWORX YOUR FIRST STEP! We did a lot of commercial real estate looking, demographic investigating, shopping for financing options, talking with bankers/CPAs/etc. before our first call. On that call, we discovered that HOTWORX would assist us with every single one of those steps. So, make HOTWORX the first step, save your time, and trust the process!

What are the top 3 reasons you chose to franchise with HOTWORX?
1. We believe in the science behind the 3D Training
2. The business model
3. The studio concept

What excites you the most in offering HOTWORX to your community?
Coming from a health & fitness background, my ultimate passion is to help others be the best, healthiest version of themselves... so we are thrilled to open a studio that not only helps people reach fitness goals but provides so many health and wellness benefits.

Congratulations, Amanda & Casey, and welcome to the HOTWORX team!
