
What originally motivated you to consider a business opportunity?
It was always our goal to eventually start our own business and we hit a point where we knew now was the time. Ultimately, we want to leave something to our children and provide them an opportunity we never had growing up.
What led you to explore franchising rather than an independent business?
Starting a business from the ground up is difficult, as is creating a brand people can trust. So, looking into franchising seemed like the best path forward in pursuing our dream.
What was your initial impression of your first HOTWORX session?
It was amazing. We loved the workout, the heat, and the exercise-to-calorie burn ratio. With life so busy, this was a fresh and quick way to accomplish our fitness needs.
How was your experience going through the HOTWORX Discovery Process?
It was great to cut the information into modules. This is important because it gives you time to digest the information then return the next week and review that week's material. It left plenty of time to ask questions and discuss if this would be the right franchise for us. Additionally, it allows the HOTWORX Franchise Recruiters to see your work ethic, personality, and attention to detail during that process.
How would you describe your Orientation Day and meeting the HOTWORX Executive Team?
It has a very family-like atmosphere and a lot of information, but not death by PowerPoint. There was a mixture of reading bullet points and providing real-life scenarios to help digest the material. It was nice to meet the CEO, Stephen, too. That's always a good sign that they care about what is happening with their franchisees. It starts at the top.
What advice would you give to other candidates considering the opportunity to franchise with HOTWORX?
Pay attention to everything being said. Research the science behind the brand. Look at the growth and brand awareness at the time it was established. With that, you will see the value in what you will be a part of. HOTWORX is paving the way for the future of working out, just like Planet Beach paved the way for tanning memberships.
What are the top 3 reasons you chose to franchise with HOTWORX?
1. It was a relatively new franchise and we wanted to be on the train early.
2. I loved the concept of the heat, exercise, and infrared model while keeping it small and making the members feel like they are a part of something.

What excites you the most in offering HOTWORX to your community?
We get to bring something new to our community and help people feel better from the inside out. With HOTWORX being a new brand in our city, we will be one of the first to expose the tremendous 3D Training method to them while possibly changing lives, physically and mentally.
What goals do you plan to accomplish in your first year as a HOTWORX franchisee?
In our first year, we plan to spread the word and educate as many people about HOTWORX as possible. This will help with a multitude of side goals, like spreading brand awareness, which builds trust, and showing that there is a better way to exercise than we have been told.
How will HOTWORX help you achieve your personal and professional goals?
It will motivate us to get in better shape and stay disciplined in our workout regimen. That creates a domino effect of being in a better mood, having fewer aches and pains, and living a healthier life. Professionally, it will finally help fulfill our dream of owning our own business and something we can be proud of.
