HOTWORX welcomes new franchisees, David and Emily Barney, who were awarded a franchise license in the Salt Lake City market and will soon begin Presale at their Orem, UT (University Pkwy) studio!
What originally motivated you to consider a business opportunity?
We have always been passionate about living a healthy, active lifestyle. Emily as a nurse is very passionate about healthcare and how healthy lifestyles and diet is the best preventative medicine. Dave is a sales professional also working in the healthcare industry, helping staff hospitals across the country with healthcare providers.
What led you to explore franchising rather than an independent business?
We have always had an interest in owning a business, but creating and starting one is challenging. We chose HOTWORX because it is something we enjoy, a lot of corporate support and a blueprint for success.
What was your initial impression of your first HOTWORX session?
We joined HOTWORX as members in November of 2020 and immediately fell in love with the infrared heat, variety of workouts in a short amount of time, 24/7 access and the saunas are more private.
How was your experience going through the HOTWORX Discovery Process?
The Discovery Process was very helpful for us to better understand the business model and how we can plug ourselves in the model and succeed. Nancy was the best, very knowledgeable and patient with our questions.
How would you describe your Orientation Day and meeting the HOTWORX Executive Team?
Orientation Day further cemented to me the level of support and that all the details in starting and running a successful franchise are put in place for us.
What advice would you give to other entrepreneurs considering the opportunity to franchise with HOTWORX?
Relax and know the HOTWORX staff have a successful model, you just need to follow it.
