HOTWORX congratulates franchisee, Barbara Meek, who was awarded a franchise license in the Atlanta market and recently opened her Holly Springs, GA (Sixes Road) studio!

What originally motivated you to consider a business opportunity?
First and foremost I was a customer of HOTWORX and from the very beginning I knew it would be something that I could be consistent with. Consistency is hard enough, but especially with regard to exercise, and I loved the way I felt after and I knew right away that the business plan was a good one as well. I have a background in property management and real estate, but prior to that, owned a small franchise restaurant location in Atlanta and always wanted to get back to owning something that I could build.

What led you to explore franchising rather than an independent business?
I wasn't really looking. This just had the right mix of something that I was passionate about because I believe it can help others like myself and it's a good business plan.

‍What was your initial impression of your first HOTWORX session?
Before Covid, I was beginning to enjoy hot yoga classes in a traditional yoga studio, but this is better. Being in a smaller space gives you the ability to focus on yourself and on each move. In addition, it helps to be in a more meditative state.

‍How was your experience going through the HOTWORX Discovery Process?
The Discovery Process, prior to any decision, can be stressful and this was no different. However, my point of contact was full of information and had answers to every question.

‍How would you describe your Orientation Day and meeting the HOTWORX Executive Team?
Orientation Day is full of information, but by this point you should know most of it already. Meeting the team was the final step, but by no means the smallest. It is a true testament to the Executive Team that every member of the corporate team has been together for years and I am proud to be part of this very impressive group.

‍What advice would you give to other candidates considering the opportunity to franchise with HOTWORX?
Surround yourself with people who can help you get additional answers you need during the due diligence process to make a decision that you are comfortable with.

‍What are the top 3 reasons you chose to franchise with HOTWORX?
1. I believe in the concept for health benefits.

3. I believe in myself to be successful and happy with HOTWORX.

‍What excites you the most in offering HOTWORX to your community?
I'm looking forward to getting the community as excited about fitness with HOTWORX as I am.

‍What goals do you plan to accomplish in your first year as a HOTWORX franchisee?
My minimum goal is the 500 member club.

‍How will HOTWORX help you achieve your personal and professional goals?
HOTWORX will help me achieve my goals by building relationships within the community around mental and physical wellness and helping others feel their best.
