The Go-To Fitness Franchise

HOTWORX welcomes new franchisee, Matthew Becker, who was awarded 3 franchise licenses- (2) in Houston, Texas and (1) license in Austin, Texas!

What led you to explore franchise opportunities?

The Montgomery, TX location opened up right outside of our neighborhood and my wife signed us up as one of the original members. I have been working in fitness since 2004 as a personal trainer, manager, and district manager at 24 Hour Fitness, so I have plenty of experience with all of the new fitness franchises. All of the other franchises seemed to be doing the same thing and putting a little different spin on it, but HOTWORX was different. HOTWORX was the first concept where I was like that is definitely a game changer. It was trying virtual instructors, infrared saunas, small group sessions and just doing things that are new to the fitness world. So here I am a franchisee.

Can you describe your first HOTWORX experience?

My first session was Hot Cycle. It was intense, hot, and fun. I felt like I had worked out for at least 30 minutes, but it had only been 13-ish. And I felt the effects long after it was over.

How was your experience going through the HOTWORX Discovery Process?

Bebe was great. She always had the answers to all our questions. She made it easy and fun to get through the initial phase before becoming a franchisee.

What was it like attending Orientation Day and meeting the HOTWORX Executive Team?

Orientation Day was great. There was so much information. I really felt excited by not only what HOTWORX was, but all the innovations they are bringing in the future. The executive team really knew what they were talking about and I was impressed by how together it was with it being such a new concept.

What advice would you give to other entrepreneurs considering the opportunity to franchise with HOTWORX?

If you are in fitness like I am you will know that it is hard to innovate something as much as HOTWORX has. To be so unique is a great opportunity to not only be something ground breaking but not to be stuck in the rat race of all the other cookie cutter franchises.

What are the top 3 reasons you chose to franchise with HOTWORX?

1. It was a unique fitness franchise.2. I liked that it had the health benefits of infrared.3. I felt that more work out in less time is staple for succeeding in this fast paced world.

What goals do you have in bringing HOTWORX to your market?

My goals are to make HOTWORX a household name in our community. I want to be the go-to fitness franchise when people are deciding where to start their fitness journey. I want to hit 1000 members in the first year.

What are you most excited for in your first year as a HOTWORX franchisee?

Hitting over 1000 members in our first year.
