HOTWORX congratulates franchisees, Summer and Justin Casebolt, who were awarded a franchise license in the Memphis market and recently opened their Atoka, TN (Hwy 51) studio!

What originally motivated you to consider a business opportunity?
My background (and primary career) is in Real Estate, and my husband is active-duty military. We lived in Slidell, LA for 7 years (he was stationed at Stennis Space Center), and as much as we loved the area we were transferred to Millington, TN. Originally, we kept our home to come back, but decided retirement was best for our family and sold our home. We had already decided to invest the proceeds but were not exactly sure where. When I found HOTWORX it was a no brainer.

What led you to explore franchising rather than an independent business?
Since my primary business is real estate; I love how the company has broken down the franchise into a manageable checklist. I am not trying to recreate the wheel; I am only trying to bring a fantastic (proven) product to a town in need.

What was your initial impression of your first HOTWORX session?
As soon as I found HOTWORX online, I knew I loved this concept. I immediately requested information on becoming a franchisee, then drove straight to the studio to take a session. I was impressed with the cleanliness & efficiency. Knowing I wanted to be a franchisee, I originally tested the company with a consumer mindset (I will never invest or promote a product I do not believe in). I was extremely impressed with the follow up. In no way did I feel like the employees were pushy or forceful, but I did feel encouraged to make another appointment. I also appreciate that even after a cancelled appointment there was continued follow up.

How was your experience going through the HOTWORX Discovery Process?
I loved my process. Nancy is fabulous and worked me in as fast as possible, so I could get the ball rolling.

How would you describe your Orientation Day and meeting the HOTWORX Executive Team?
One major thing continued to stick out to me throughout the day, and that was love for the company. Most of the corporate employees have been together since the 90s and early 2000s. Loyalty and love of career are extremely important to me, and no one will stay with a company for that long unless they love and believe in it.

What advice would you give to other entrepreneurs considering the opportunity to franchise with HOTWORX?
I would encourage new candidates to follow the process. This is a company with a proven system.

What are the top 3 reasons you chose to franchise with HOTWORX?
1. My small area is experiencing so much growth from the residential side (Blue Oval City is being built 30 minutes from me); I wanted to help bring some of the necessary infrastructure. Most people will not drive 30 minutes one way for a workout. That defeats the purpose of more work out in less time.
2. For someone that does not always love working out, I was immediately drawn to all the benefits of the sauna as well as low impact workouts. I wanted to share that.
3. Again, I look at everything from a consumer standpoint. I have watched members become more confident with their bodies. I have talked to people who would NEVER go to a major gym due to intimidation, let alone do so in a sports bra. Now they are in public in a sports bra everyday feeling beautiful, confident, and improving their overall health. To me that translates to self-love and happiness. I cannot wait to provide a space that gives that level of confidence to my members.

What excites you the most in offering HOTWORX to your community?
Not only the improved confidence I spoke about in my previous answer but improving members overall health and wellbeing.

What goals do you plan to accomplish in your first year as a HOTWORX franchisee?
I am extremely competitive, so of course I would like to be the top franchisee!

How will HOTWORX help you achieve your personal and professional goals?
As far as professional goals I believe HOTWORX will help make the financial transition of active duty to retiree smoother for my husband. Personally, as someone who struggles with chronic inflammation and chronic fatigue, I am always looking to improve my own health. I have drastically changed my diet over the last 1.5 years, which has helped but I know I can continue to grow.
