HOTWORX welcomes new franchisee, Bryan Bodrog, who was awarded a franchise license in the Minneapolis-St. Paul market and recently began Presale at his Hudson, Wisconsin studio!
What originally motivated you to consider a business opportunity?
I am a Marine Combat Veteran with a Purple Heart and I have been doing Clinical Mental Health work with Veterans for over 10 years. Recently my wife and I had our first child and I realized that the job comes home with me more than I’d like it to. For this reason, I decided to pursue something that would allow me to be fully present with my family while still helping people; just in a different way.
What led you to explore franchising rather than an independent business?
Research! I conducted a lot of research on several business models prior to narrowing it down. What attracted me most to the Franchising world was the systems that are created by the Franchisor that really promotes Franchisee success. Coming from the military I was very familiar with how systems and SOPs garnish results, and so for me it was a no brainer!
What was your initial impression of your first HOTWORX session?
Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 and the Pandemic I was unable to try a HOTWORX session as there are no locations within 4 hours of where I live. This said, I understand the many benefits of infrared as I had used infrared in my own recovery process following my injuries I sustained while in Iraq. I am so confident in this system that I don’t feel that I needed to try a session before owning one. However, I am very excited to try it when I get my location open.
How was your experience going through the HOTWORX Discovery Process?
It’s very hard to put into words just how great my experience was going through the Discovery Process with Cynthia. I feel that anything I say would be an understatement and a disservice to the amazing experience, both educationally and personally, that Cynthia provided throughout the whole Discovery Process.
How would you describe your Orientation Day and meeting the HOTWORX Executive Team?
Orientation Day for me was conducted virtually. Honestly, I was very disappointed, but understood the circumstances. Leading up to Orientation Day I felt that I wouldn’t get to know the Executive Team as well, but I was wrong. Our virtual Orientation Day went on without a hitch and the Executive Team did an amazing job making me feel welcome and part of the HOTWORX family.
What advice would you give to other entrepreneurs considering the opportunity to franchise with HOTWORX?
“Every Professional was Once a Student” - If you are new to Franchising or the Business world don’t let that deter you from going after your dreams! HOTWORX has a flawless system and tremendous support that allows for anyone, to include us newbies, to learn and grow and become professionals so that we all may accomplish our dreams!
What are the top 3 reasons you chose to franchise with HOTWORX?
1. Systems, systems, systems: They have built a proven system and all I have to do is follow it completely and I KNOW I will be successful!
2. Independence: Both financial and personal independence. HOTWORX allows for financial independence by providing a system, that when followed correctly, will ensure financial success. Also, the business structure allows for me, as the owner, to hire only 3 employees and not have to run the day-to-day operations, which provides me the personal freedom I have been looking for.
3. Philanthropy: I am a person who prides himself on giving back, and I love the philanthropical nature of HOTWORX Corporate. I have set myself a personal goal within this area to give a HOTWORX sauna to the veteran community to assist in both mental health and physical health rehabilitation.
What excites you the most in offering HOTWORX to your community?
I am most excited about bringing the benefits of 3D Training to my community as it’s a healthy and fun alternative to traditional weight training.
What goals do you plan to accomplish in your first year as a HOTWORX franchisee?
My goal is to make the 500 Club in the first year, and to put myself in the position to start the process in opening my second location.
