HOTWORX congratulates franchisees, McKay and Kayle Crist, who were awarded 3 franchise licenses - 1 in the Denver market, 1 in the Cheyenne-Scottsbluff market and 1 in the Casper-Riverton market. They recently opened their Windsor, CO studio!

What originally motivated you to consider a business opportunity?
Kayle and I both work for Amazon and are looking for avenues to eventually not work for a large corporation. We were HOTWORX members in Omaha, NE and when we moved back to Colorado there was not one in our area. When we explored the business opportunity further it just made sense for our family.

What led you to explore franchising rather than an independent business?
Kayle and I intend on keeping our corporate jobs for the time being. We also have a 2 year old and a baby girl due in April. We chose to franchise because it provides opportunities for opening our own business with guidance.

‍What was your initial impression of your first HOTWORX session?
I have not done a HOTWORX session since before my son was born (over 2 years ago) but I know I was in the best shape of my life when I was able to go. Having my kids has set my body back and I am looking forward to having HOTWORX as a tool to get myself back to a healthy place after having kids.

‍How was your experience going through the HOTWORX Discovery Process?
The HOTWORX Discovery Process was great! It made us super excited to get things moving.

‍How would you describe your Orientation Day and meeting the HOTWORX Executive Team?
Having the opportunity to meet the Executive Team of a business is really special. The fact that they take their time to welcome new franchisees means they are truly invested in their success.

‍What advice would you give to other candidates considering the opportunity to franchise with HOTWORX?
Enjoy the process! This is our first business venture and we have learned so much thus far. We know we will continue to learn more and more as we move through the process.

‍What excites you the most in offering HOTWORX to your community?
Our community is very health and fitness oriented, but is very underserved when it comes to gym options. Giving the community an affordable and flexible option will hopefully change lives.

‍What goals do you plan to accomplish in your first year as a HOTWORX franchisee?
In our first year as HOTWORX Franchisees, we want a minimum of 500 members, to find great staff, build a solid reputation within our community, and change lives with the health benefits that come with working out at HOTWORX.

‍How will HOTWORX help you achieve your personal and professional goals?
We are choosing to open a HOTWORX location because it will help us achieve our personal and professional goals. Personally, it will help my husband and I get back into great shape and be the best versions of ourselves, and help others in the community do the same. Professionally, HOTWORX will help us become business owners and pave a path to one day being financially free from corporate jobs.
