The Power of Training Partners
Why do people train with others? What makes a small group of two or three people when training more effective? Why do professional athletes train with a partner, or a one-on-one coach?

I have been training clients now for three decades. Since my days of training for bodybuilding competitions I have known from experience that it is always more motivating to train with a partner, or even two training partners. There is no doubt that training with others is more motivating than training alone.

It has been proven that training with others improves workout performance. Plenty of scientific evidence proves this, but let’s face it, common sense should tell us that effort increases when others are around. A workout group of three people makes for a good fitness team. Small group training has gained tremendous popularity in recent years and for good reason.
